Went to checkers / Advanced today looking for a product to degrease / clean my engine bay - sales rep said try simple green so for $4.95 bottle i did

it comes in a "windex" type spray bottle, and is green with a minty spell - but it's still a cleaner

sprayed it on my car, let it sit for 10 minutes, and simply washed it off with a water hose, loooooks clean!!!!

simply amazing results i'm impressed 5/5

I hope the stuff is good the Air Force uses it to clean aircraft...so i think it will work well on your engine!!

We have 55 gallon drums sitting around here...only this stuff is full strength :P

lol^ i would imagine that would be pretty cool to do.....

i remember when we used to run over pop cans and get them to come up the wheel and end up sticking behind the tire so that they would make a loud noise like a dirtbike lol

Yeah thats all we use to clean andything and everything in the army. Its also pretty good with getting built up gunk out of a howitzer.

Do you think it would have looked good without scrubbing? My buddy has a car with those spoke hubcaps that are a pain in the ass to clean...If you can just spray it on, let it sit and rinse it off he'd definately be interested

i didn't have to scrub persay, i just used the scrub brush that came with my mr. clean kit, and LIGHTLY brushed it around, no elbow grease at all, if you had a strong waterhose and could jet it i'm sure that would work just as well on the rims

I'll go with cloud on that one...as soon as you spray it on you can see the grease run off. a nice light scrub wouldn't hurt though

Yeah he tried it and it worked real well! Not perfect for every nook and cranny, but they looked damn good for little to no work!

i got a bottle about 3 weeks ago and used it....

it seemed to work well, i noticed that it cleaned it fast....

i bet if i sprayed more in certain areas it would have worked better, but an overall A
