So i was cleaning under the hood the other day and tried unbolting this, what i thought was just some weird relay on the left fender. As i was unbolting it the head pops off the bolt, DIRTY. f*** it, i'll just let it hang. later that day my buddy just messing around, puts on my 4 ways, and ALL my dash lights flash with the blinkers. GAY!
So i got over that and as were leaving, tired the blinkers, nothing unless the fogs were turned off, then they would blink really fast. So it this point i was pretty upset, thought i got something wet, we popped the hood, started looking around, and noticed that all the wires going into this "relay" were black. So we tried grounding it out, bingo! that was her.
Then, last night, i started my car, with stock exhaust and radio up, looked at the tach, oh, 0 RPM, poop, car didn't start, tired it again, GRIND! car was running!, damn gauges weren't working! so i shut it off and turned it back on it was fine.

I believe from what you're describing you un-bolted a splice-pack. It's just a junction for the wires (in this case grounds.)

yeah theres actually quite a few around the car one at each fuse panel one on both driver and passenger side under the carpet and the plastic step guard, i think two in the back too and a few under the hood here and there... quite actually a good way to get everything grounded even add ons just go to one of those at least you'd know you have a great grounding spot

Next time your cars gauges don't register, look at the radio, i bet it says 'CALIBRATE'. No one really knows why they do it, but just shut the car off. Turn it on and be on your way.

There was on like the 99-2000's. There is even a TSB about water running down the pillers from teh sunroof and getting into the fuse box causing some very strange issues.

hey do any of you guys with sunroofs have a problem with it becomming loose, I don't have water probs..yet, but I get alot of air noise when on the highway, and it pops up a bit when I close the doors.

Most sunroofs aren't made to really seal tightly to the body, so there will be noise. And I've had other cars with sunroofs and the popping up is normal, as long as it doesn't stay up.
