Is this intake bypass going to work as well as the AEM one?

ITs their description that scares me, it says that it absorbs the water when it reaches it, isn't the bypass supposed to let air in when theres a vacuum so the water never even gets near it?

yeah, that one doesn't work the same. the aem doesn't restrict air with a sponge, it allows air to enter the sides of the bypass to prevent hydrolock.

It also says "Works the same as AEM" so which part of the description is wrong? The AEM one is out of my budget...

just avoid puddles until you save enough money. that one looks cheap and seems to be restrictive.
