So I just built this really nice (em... a little over the top) sub enclosure for my Alero: for 2 MTX 7500 12" subs... so I was wondering, how do I wire speaker cable into this box and keep it air tight? I'm confused... Any help appreciated!

Will post pics later.

i always drill 1 hole or 2 holes just small enuff to push the wires threw on each side........

it wont really make a difference even with a sealed enclosure. or i suppose you could always put some caulk or some sort of sealent in there to seal it back up. i dont think you will notice a difference though

ok, thanks yall. I'll probaly just drill the hole and put some silicone in it then.

honestly its such a small hole it wont really need to be sealed but if it makes you feel better about it then go for it bro

well I was just worried about air flow noises (air hissing as it passed in and out)...

haha but it seems to be fine. I just drilled the holes big enough to pass the wires through and left it, works great (:
