I have 8.5mm MSD wires in and i think they are great. I am going to be swapping them out for new ones soon though.

Installed my Taylor plugs this weekend. Unfortunately, I also had to put it in the shop today due to other engine issues, so i haven't gotten the chance to see what they can actually do.

Sorry I dont know much about car stuff yet lol, but can these taylor 8mm spiro pro spark plug wires be used with NGK iridium spark plugs? Does it matter which wires are used with which plugs?? Because I think im going to go to autozone and purchase those when I get the chance.. :P

No perceivable difference here.
I've used stockers, Taylors, MSDs, an Magnecors. Stockers work fine and are in use now.

No, they don't... but either way the coils on the V6 have been used on *most* of the FWD V6s since '87. also on the Northstar, ZR1 Corvette, and a couple other cars if i remember that one right.

It's the 4-cylinders that don't have wires. (Any in the Alero that is)

i pretty positive OTHER THAN 4 cylinders use the same coils and v8's have one more but they are the same coil

hmm i just had my champion iridium spark plugs and coils put in... when started up and at low rpms the car makes a deeper sound [i like it actually], but im smelling a good amount of fuel smell at start up and while driving [letting air in] is something wrong with that picture any possible problems? or is that normal :P?

Ok.

The 3400 uses the Delco 2-tower coil. Even in 1998 the V8s (northstar aside) either used one coil per cylinder (LS1) or ONE coil total and still had a distributor (trucks, also 4.3 V6). The 3.5 DOHC V6 has it's own specific coil and module assembly as well as the Catera having it's own bosch 6-tower coil. The 2200, 3100, 3400 and 3800 used the same delco 2-tower coil as well as the northstar (until 2000-2001 when it went coil-on-plug)

Standard AC Delco's here, everything else fucks my car up.

I also have the Accel xtreme 9000 wires in my car. Not bad I like them a little bit better than the Taylors. They are black wires and 8mm also

love the enthusiasm for performance ignition products.....but guys, please remember, if you're not making high horsepower, there's much better things you could spend your money on. The closer your car is to stock engine, the less benefit you get from performance ignition products.
