Quick question if the Eibach pro kit was bought would i have to buy new struts too?

you don't NEED new struts, but new struts would make re-assembly a bit easier, plus it would look better under there.

If the car has some mileage I would replace the struts. KYB's from RSM (you'll find a link to it somewhere on this site).

lol It was in the Nissan (BF's car) which has Tein Superdrift coilovers... they adjust 16 different ways. 1 being soft 16 hard. they are on like 4 and still ride rough, but you can corner anything at 70 mph. They were worth the $1500 lol

i say get drop springs and do it your self all you need is a impact and a few jack stands
i have had coil overs they suck i also cut my coils that worked good but i was told it wasent to safe. the heating your coils will give you a bouncy ride and i have air now great performance but with big bumps it is a little rough

Dont Ever Cut Ur Stock Springs!
spring tech will lower you car the most besides coilovers, eibach is probably the stiffiest, and im not sure about intrax

intrax is about a 2 inch drop same with sprint and spring tech, but eibach is closest to stock and stiffer.

1. dont agree...best ride I ever had...other than stock was cut stocks....it lowered just as much as my ST springs but is much cheaper...actually sold my springs and cut my stocks after it. softer ride. if the shocks are good it felt better than with lowering springs.

It is dangerous though, seeing as how the springs are then more prone to fall off the perch.

why would you do that, if you lower your car you need stiffer srpings or you will be bottoming out on every hill/driveway you go up

yeah been there seen that dude, I was riding with cut stock springs for a year straight, and now I had to replace my rear control arms, tie rods and struts shocks...not the way to go

lol. omg guys! calm the pervertness down a touch would yas? lol
I know it sounds stupid but when I took my lowering springs off my car I went back to stock but knew I would hate the look so i put them side by side and cut the stocks to match the height of the lowered spring. I was happier with the ride on the cut stock then I was on lowered ST springs

lol old thread... anyways just go to any parking lot anywhere in North America, find the dirtiest/most beat up Alero and just snag the caps. Its a little harder to find the GLS caps though ;)
