Sup guys, my names Brian...ive been posting on here already and just now decided to do the intro thingy here...uh i have a 2002 Alero GL with the 3400sfi just on here lookin for some ideas and such..so far the only thing ive done is put a fart cannon on and new radio, yeah not much but im workin on it.. im lookin to lower it and put some rims and tint, then work on the engine a little bit. i guess the only bragging rights ive earned so far is that i beat my friends v6 p.o.s. mustang in the quarter mile...so yeah go team

hey man...im a "newbie" also. i have a 2004 alero and just wanted to let you know about the whole mustang thing.....yeah they suck unless they got 5 speeds or a 5.0 i can beat the 4.6 automatic all day long in the 1/4....its kinda funny. i went to the strip at BIR and completely smoked this kid from my home town. then went back to my home town to visit a few weeks later and found out that the kid with the stang sold it and bought a v6 alero coupe and supercharged it. it was great fun.

alerochick...this may be a random question but did your dome lights fall out on you at one point? i was reading some of the reviews and it said that they tend to fall out on the 02's and i went to check and as soon as i touched it it fell out..rofl..

and yeah whitey...i was definatly surprized to beat him, figured eh mustangs are all around fast...hmm i was wrong

last night i raced my friends 5speed avenger with body kit and cai..he beat me off the line but i still went flying past him..these cars have some balls! cant wait to get all the good stuff done to it

yeah man my domelight started acting up at about 30000. it wouldnt come on unless you pushed up on it because there was something shorting out on it...one time i got mad enough and i whacked it good and it fell out lol....got it back in there and now it works perfectly.

haha alright cool im not the only one then...thankfully my car was still on the 30 day warantee through the dealership so i got alot of stuff fixed for free, it was missing a foglight and there was studdering when i stepped on it..dont know what that was all about but it was all free fixes :biggrin:

yeah i was smart and when i bought my car i spent the extra 3 grand on a warrenty that covers 5 years or 100,000 miles...i love it (thumbs up) ive been through 4 trannys....a fuel pump....a water pump....and an engine and ive only got 65,000 so far lol.

Welcome to the site! I had a 03 w/ the 3400 in it at one point. There is a whole lot you can do to get some power out of the car, it really depends on what you want to do.

yeah, i didnt get the warantee unfortunatly..it was just a customer deal they the palce gave us...

yep im gonna do whatever i can to make my car as sweet as most of the ones i see on here, only problem is, is that you guys got more money than i do so its gonna take me a while, after all, i get like 140 bucks a week and half of it goes to payments :Noooo:

Mod the car out some more and you can beat V8 Mustang convertibles and match SOME V8 coupe mustangs, they don't like that very much :thumb:

im prolly gonna need some help though getting stuff for my car...im not real intellegent when it comes to this area..im more into car stereos, but slowly getting into the engine dept. so ill prolly be askin alot of questions and bug the hell outta you guys =/ lol i already know how im gonna make it look good now i just need to make it perform better, which will be a bank breaker :(
