as long as you get colors that actually look good together, like:
blue/green
blue/purple
red/purple
red/orange
orange/yellow
yellow/green
it should look fine....SOLID. Don't try to bunny with multiple tones. :thumb:

i was at a show two months ago with a sunfire that had a blue/purple chameleon paint job and it looked amazing, but like brent said, its expensive, I don't think you know how much money your actually looking at here.

for a typical one-normal color paintjob, for the entire car done properly (doorjams, under the hood, etc) you'd look at about $3000 (depending on the paint and who does it). I've heard chameleon paint will easily double that price.

Actual chamelion paint from house of kolor is $120 for a 7 or 8 ounce container i belive not sure ill have to check. PPG harlequin is a little cheaper but does't look quite as good, its more of a pearl look instead of a solid color, you can also get a prizmatic paint from SEM and i belive theres one other company that makes it as well but can't remember of the top of my head.

DuPont ChromaLusion. That's the most popular one they use around here, and it looks like garbage on a Viper.

Yeah I'm sick of seeing the cars that are like pink/sea green
Also as stated above, better be ready to spend a pretty penny

Yea thats the other one I was thinking of.
I checked it out and what i was told by one of my instructors for PPG's harlequin it is $32 an ounce, which you mix 13 to1 with DBC 500 (intercoat clear) then reduce 1 to 1 so with one ounce of paint you end up with 28 sprayable ounces.
I'm sure that the other brands are similur.
I know at least one of them, SEM i think, you buy ready to spray and House Of Kolor you only reduce but its more expensive. personaly I only like the HOK chamileion because it is such a solid color not so much of a pearl effect like PPG's. HOK and PPG are the only two I have experiance with though.

i hate that base coat , it`s ugly no matter what color is turns too
the ppg dbc version i simple to use it has to be activated with dx 57 1:1 to 5% dx 57
iam not goin to get into it but it`s very very expensive and not worth it
ppg has allot of great colors out there beside that crap

I saw a paint sample slide at a car show in Birmingham, Al that looked like that green to purple chameleon, but it actually changes color with heat. It kinda reminded me of a mood ring. It was pretty cool.
