A/f Gauge

So where do i run the wire to? I think someone said something about running it to the Mass Air Flow sensor wire? Right out of it comes 3 wires, Black, Yellow, and it looks pinkish. Do i run it to that pinkish wire? Where should I connect my Purple wire coming out of my gauge. I know it has to go to an 02 wire. Please anwser.

Well behind the spark plug wires, in the back of the engine bay. thats where I found my purple wire. (O2) I connected that a few years back. And its been working fine ever since. Yet, it was not the best wiring job or anything. A few days back I had my car in the shop and someone said "your A/F gauge is all over the place". I didn't know that, and so I thought I had it in the wrong place. Or my wiring was screwy. So I went and redid all my wiring and bought nice wire and connectors and all. It came out really well, but I wasn't sure.

Believe it or not, after my rewire. My car actually shifted smoother. lol. Not sure if a wire was alittle loose or something, but now it shifts alot nicer then it did before at full throttle. Any ideas with that? lol
