tinting taillights

i thought i saw someway to do this around here somewhere but anyways could someone post how you go about tinting your taillights?

i have them done....i used "night shades", you spray it on, basically as many coats until you get it as dark as you want...after that i used clear coat then buffed it to make it smooth

does anyone know the laws about tinting tail lights...like how much you can cover or if you can even do this at all.

i dont think there'd be a law as long as you can see the red at night when you hit the brakes
