Well, my Alero goes in the shop on March 15. When it gets out, I don't know whether to mod it or trade it in on a new Alero. So, should I keep it or get rid of the cursed car?

The right front fender, hood, right headlight, plastic guard underneath, left side mirror, and completely repainted. Insurance is paying for it all, except a $500 deductible(est.$3700). :(

I was thinking of getting one of those last 500 editions and modifying it, but most would think of keeping one of those in factory condition.

Well, if it's all fixed, why not keep it? Or, sell it when it's all nice and shiny. Do you have to cash to drop on a new car? I'd love to sell my Alero, but it's paid for and not worth enough to get a better car.

Well, I have the $1500 owner loyalty certificate. But here's what I was thinking. I was going to trade my 2001 Alero in for a used '97 or '98 Bravada. Then, I was going to buy a new 2004 Alero with my certificate. :) :(

If I were you, I'd probably save the money and modify the alero and get some rims and a body kit, but owning a 2004 would be pretty cool also.

Take a deep breath, sleep on it for a few days and the think about it again. Personally keep the alero you have now.

I'm just going to keep my car. I have to pay a $1000 fine and fix a fence.
>>story:I was driving to fast on an icy road and hit a government fence. Judge saw it as carelessness and no respect for the law(though I wasn't speeding). I had already fixed the fence before I went to court and said my sorries, but the judge didn't see it my way. :pissed:

The car is out of the shop and she looks like she just came off the showroom floor. :)
