ive been trying to take my alternator pulley, off to install this new one i got, but its so damn tricky, i cant seem to get it to stop spinning. :(

anyone have some advice?

ive tried shifting the tenshioner to stop everything else from moving, but the alternator just spins as i try to move the bolt. :Noooo:

either use an impact gun on it (places like Autozone will do it too). Or use a wrench and a hex key in the center of the shaft to hold it.

wrench and hex key huh? hmm i know for a fact an impact gun wont fit.

so if i go to autozone and ask them if they can get my pulley off they will do it?

got it, i had to take the alternator off then take it to auto zone where they took the pulley off for me.
