how much will a capicator help? i mean my headlights dim bad it will stop that but will it help my bass out alot? if anyone can help me out thanx

it'll work well as a paper weight! i know that! i wouldnt bother with a capacitor.

it will help with the dimming somewhat, its like having a second miniature battery...its also a bit easier on your battery as capacitors are ment for the quick charge/discharge that amps draw...I've got one, and I like it...never know til you try it.

spend your money and get a bigger alternator..the cap helped a bit with the dimming but i just ended up getting a second battery for the trunk

Buy another battery and stick it in the trunk next to your amp.

When you added a second battery did you run wires from your first battery back to the trunk?

technically you should isolate that second battery. most people dont think about it but if one of the batteries goes bad it will kill both of them rather quickly. an isolater is just a heavy duty relay that turns on and off with the car.

Caps dont help very much. Buy another Battery.
