Fastest Aleros with slips

OK here we go, the smack talk will stop here.

1/4 miles time slips can be posted on this theard and then PM me and I will update the list.

I'm going to break it down into 3 cats 3400, 2.2/2.4, and boosted (with what type of poweradder you're using).

Do not post any comments here, just time slips. Any other comments will be deleted.

Corrected times are allowed, but you must use the NHRA forumla.

UPDATED ON NOVEMBER 12, 2007:

1. No time slip will get you on the list, but at the bottom of the list, Since there are guys and gals that have faster times with slips, than those without, it's really not fair to ask somebody to post a fast time and not prove it. If slips are posted in other threads, that's OK. As long as I've seen the slip. Post a slip and you will regain your spot on the list if there are cars you are faster than.

2. Since a few guys are thinking about posting time slips to cars other than Olds Aleros, I think we can allow this. I opened up a new class for non Aleros, and Aleros with non factory engines (i.e. LS1 motor swap into an Alero)

3. However this will not include Grand Am and Malibus. If anybody on here would like to post GA and Bu slips, you can, I will combine into another class called Other Fast N Bodies. Let's face it, the GAGT is geared faster than an Alero and I'm pretty sure the Alero is geared faster than a Bu. This is why the orginal lists are called Fastest Aleros.

and all aleros in the categories should have a parenthesis such as:

(turbocharged)
(nitrous)

with commas to separate more than one power adder. better than making too many categories

First off, you know have an extra tranny as soon as I rip it out. Secondly, I have enough incentive just not being able to drive my car, been a year and a half without my car!!! Just post your times, they will be beaten no problem when everything is said and done. Thirdly, well let's just go with the first two.......

I hereby humbly, and respectfully submit this here timeslip for consideration to appear on the "Fastest boosted Aleros" list.

I request that the actual time on the slip, not corrected for altitude be used (which for NHRA would have been 13.28 / 102.18). However, I request that notation be made of the altitude: ( @ 5860 ft. elev.)

I further believe that no other currently running Alero or Grand Am GT had a faster slip this past season.

Wow...mine is bone stock GLS with 95xxx on the ticker, 3.4 litre sedan loaded with everything except Onstar....is mine capable of high 16's? My wife is the main driver for now...until I hunt down a van for her...then it becomes mine.

^If it's been properly maintained, mid-16's are no problem. Low-16's (16.2-.3) should be doable, too, possibly under the same.
