View Full Version : Wheels...
Well, I'm looking into some rims/wheels. I currently have the 16" stock wheels. I was wondering if I went up to 18", would everything be all cool? I know shit about anything, so any help would be great.

Those rims are tyte, and not everyone has those same lookin rims!
Thanks guys. :)
I ask alot of questions I know, sorry... but...
Curious, I remember reading something about how getting larger rims will skrew up my speedometer/odometer and some shit? What should I do? Take it to a shop and they'll get it straightened out? Also, how much will that cost me? I know nothing, but you can already see that.

you wont have to change anything...to make a long answer short
Wont the speedometer say I'm going like 65 and in reality I'm going like 10+ MPH faster?

I've actually heard that. But I don't think it's as big as 10 mph. I have 18's on mine and mine's less than 5 mph difference. But if you get a ticket by a camera...maybe you could argue that! ;-) How did you find any wheels on wheelmax.com to fit the alero? I looked for an 04 and it said nothing fit! :(

because wheelmax is a crappy site to buy anything from....and your speedometer would be off something like 2 mph. nothing to get all upset or worried about

I think the rims look pretty good, you're probably gonna want to drop your car 1-2 inches with 18" rims or you'll look like you're off-roading :thumb:
