Found out why the a/c don't work in the car, and it is the worst of worst news.
A/C CONDENSOR
Big bucks to fix, big bucks that I don't have right now. I will get it fixed, but probably not until the wintertime. The seal behind the clutch is shot, not worth it to fix it.
A guess is somewhere in the $900 to $1,000 range. They did one on a Caddy and the compressor was $650. I'm getting a price in the morning when I pick up the car. :( I am going to get it fixed, just not now. I hope August isn't too hot, or I hit the Lottery for a few bucks, just a few, I don't need millions, but it would be nice

yuppp compressors are a hefty penny, better to wait til the winter time so the price will go down a bit.

and also, you said it was the a/c condensor, but a seal behind the clutch was shot, so i'm assuming you ment to say compressor?

i found my problem... i DID need a recharge... but i was also trying to use A/C on the option for outside air, not inside air. felt like a total tard when someone pointed that out. :glare:

well you are a tard...the a/c works either way inside or outside air, just maybe a little cooler when you use the recirc button

Mine just cracked too, of course they fixed a leaky seal first before finding the real problem. $1000 + labor isn't worht it for the 2 weeks a year I need it.

I'm getting mine fixed, $850 for everything.
I don't want my headliner falling and my leather seats getting all fucked up from certain shirts sticking to them when I get up
