ok heres the deal. i just got a new cold air box intake from doctor speed. since iv gotten it though my car has been shifting real funny. i would hit the gas hard and it would rev to about 4400 RPM and just stay there, it wouldnt shift or go any faster. it would just stay. im not really sure whats goin on with it. has anyone else had this problem? do you have any suggestions for me?

why would it go faster? intakes don't really add HP. like 5hp if that. wont notice when driving.

Only thing is does is make a badass whistle/hissing sound.

try and reset the computer.......unhook the batter for 15 minutes i think it is.....and then hook it back up.......also check all your connections under the hood to make sure you didnt hit one, check the maf, the iat, check the tranny connector........i would say its too much of a coincidence that it happened right after you were messing around under the hood so check your connections........

ya im betting one of your connections needs attention... when i did mine i yanked on 1 too hard and the wires came disconnected inside the little clip so i couldnt see it but after splicing in new wires it worked wonderful again.
