alright well last night i just got done repainting my interior and my rear deck and when i put everything in, everything was fine.....

i get in this morning and start the car, my inner tail lights aren't on, and my outer tail lights are VERY dim...... do you think that i possibly blew some sort of fuse? or is my battery dying? I had my car on last night, not running but on, while i was putting all my stuff back in for awhile......

someone give me some info on this, my service engine soon or whatever lights are on while my car is running and when it is just on..... this wasn't doing this last night at all.......

i forgot to mention that my dimmer control(where the needles get brighter) does not work, and my fog lights do not turn on....... all of this was working last night as well.......

start with where the problem started, unless you shorted something while tearing it apart who knows. Check all the fuses, start with the fogs

aside from that you must have pulled some wires

im going to go and get it checked at advanced auto and see what they say.... they are going to run a computer to it and see what codes are thrown....

do you have an engine light? if so it's probably not related to the electrical issue you're experiencing

yeah, service engine soon.... but i barely drove my car last month and this month

well i took it to advanced auto today and they didnt find anything wrong at all..... no codes came up at all......:(

anyone with any other advice?

maybe you tore up a ground for the taillights

i might have..... i checked everything and i didnt see anything wrong at all..... would it turn on my service engine soon light?

another thing i will add, is that when i turn my dimmer control up, the only thing that works on it is the curtosey lights or whatever they are.... they are located under the rear view mirror...... the needles, and all the other things do not light up.......

i might as well take this shit to a dealership or a shop, cuz i really don't know what else i can do.....

Do u have any interior lights? Is your Service vehicle soon light on? And not the Service Engine soon? we have 2 lights, one on each side of the cluster. The left side is the Service vehicle soon , if thats on, more than likely a fuse is blown. If its the right side of the cluster, thats your service engine soon light. meaning your lights have nothing to do with the engine. Service engine soon light is mainly for emission stuff when it comes on.

Dont take it too the dealer, I will try to help you solve it!

Tell me this .. is your trunk light come on? If not.. fuse blown on the right side dash fuse panel. That might be the logic of why your dimmer and interior lights don't work. But the interior lights is also tapped into the parking lights to the fuse box under the hood. Go check those things. Then let me know
