WorkAlero

Howdy folks! I just bought a 2000 Silvermist Alero GL sedan for a work car (hence the screen name). It has 86000 on the clock and is very clean with a couple of small blemishes. The hood needs repainted and I have the peeling dash pad above the instrument panel. I love the car. The stereo kicks for a factory model. The 3.4 has good power and the car handles pretty good. I was looking for an Alero or a Grand Am GT and noticed the Alero's were easier to find in my price range. I've always been partial to Oldsmobiles anyhow being the former owner of two Bravadas in the past. I am definately a die hard GM guy though.
I think these car forums are a really great thing as the search button has already helped me fix one problem. I replaced the blower motor resistor and got my first two fan settings back on my A/C. I'm a regular over at LS1GTO.com and my handle over there is Striped04. That brings me to why I bought the Alero which was so I don't have to drive my 2004 GTO in the winter here in Ohio. I don't think I'll be modding the Alero much since most of my modding $ go to the GTO. Once you mod one thing it's hard to stop though. The temptation is there.
Anyhow, nice site you've got here and I'll try to contribute something worthwhile.
Thanks,
Doug
