aftermarket sunroof kit

does anyone have an aftermarket sunroof? if so, how much is it for a manual pop up one installed? (i don't want a power one b/c then its a hassle to get fixed if the motor dies <_<) thanks...

americansunroofsinalfa.com is your best place, they are the people who make the factory gm sunroofs. ive had it for over a year now, no leaks and looks better than the factory one does

how much did it cost for the install mark?

I know a lot of fabbing places are starting to remove the glass from the sunroof and replacing it with cf. Not a big deal, but its different. You could probably get them to make you a pop-up cf one. Or get one like silents.

i called them up today and i'm almost totally sure this price is a ripoff: $1200 for the "stock look" sunroof, or $600 for the slide-in sunroof (both installed)....he did seem kind of sleezy i guess, kept telling me how they install for dealers (prob why they charge so much) -- ill find a hookup and get it cheaper ;)

Do your research on finding someone to do the install. I had an aftermarket sunroof done and about a year later it leaked whenever I washed it or it rained. It wasn't a big leak but it leaked. Wasn't under warranty anymore.

and mine wouldve ran about $1200 but i got the best one i could get that would fit.

Dealer wanted like $750 if you want a dealer to do it.
