Shit, today I was driving around town, stopped by my friend's house, and realised my radio was having issues (stepper motor), so I was messing with it then all of a sudden my security light came on! Damnit! I messed with all the wires and concluded that all the wires were connected fine and tried it again, same thing, nothing. My car thought I was trying to steal it. Long story short I couldn't get it running and had it towed to get looked at.. on Monday.
Any ideas on what happened to it?

Yea, I messed with it for a good long while, I think it may have decided to go into the full theft lockdown thing (like after you try it 5 times or something, I forget exactly).

Leave your key in the on position for 10 minutes and it will start right up.

Ugh if only it would've happened at my house I'd give that^^^ a try, sounds feasible enough to work (had it towed to the shop right away, instead of from my friend's house to my house, then to the shop if I couldn't get it over the weekend).
I'll ask the shop what they're planning to do on Monday when they actually get to look at it.
If the waiting game does work, will it do this to me again randomly? Would the remote start kit being in there possibly cause some problems? All the connections to the kit are hooked up (the 555L module isn't unhooked causing the passlock split to have problems) as far as I can tell, although the remote start wasn't actually functioning (wouldn't crank or make any motion towards showing that it got the command to start). Could that be a part of the problem? Or maybe could a wire shorting on the main ignition harness (not the passlock one) cause this?
And if after they check it, if for some reason they determine I need a new ignition harness (a guy I talked to from another place said something about it perhaps needing replacement, but he didn't sound 100% knowledgeable) should I ditch the remote start?
God I'm full of useless questions.

Remote start for a passlock system requires a modual (sp)

I know, the 555L. It's in there. I put the RS in early June and it hasn't given me any problems until this happened.

Boy, a lot of good it did coming on after the car was already running.
Let us know if any of those tips above work for you!

News!
Talked to my mechanic that was checking out the car today. It's looking to be more than just the passlock sensor being dumb.
The error codes they're getting when checking are being random in nature, instead of just receiving one for the passlock sensor having problems over and over they're getting multiple ones. Also, when doing the thing to reprogram it (crank, leave the key in on for 10 mins, repeat 2 more times, or something like that) it fired up on the 2nd time cranking, which it wasn't supposed to do. The car's running with the security light on, now, too.
He said all of this is leading him to believe that the BCM is having troubles/ may need to be replaced.

Eh, I guess after MORE of that stuff they were checking they narrowed it down to the passlock sensor in the cylinder and not the BCM. Feh, at least it'll cost less now. The car should be done sometime today, too!
Edit: And it's back!!!!! They replaced the passlock sensor.
