two pieces of construction paper glued together and then sprayed over with aluminum colored paint to get the silver look.

I agree with sweet, that many holes will make the taillights look somewhat odd. I'm guessing you'll be using vinyl for this. I've honestly never seen any good headlights or taillights that look good to me that have been covered in vinyl, i think it just gives the car a ricey look. But who knows, try it out and see what happens.

long time no see....well i think the amber should be just one hole..and and all of them should be a lil smaller, is this gonna be black vinyl or silver? or paint?

I like the idea of trying it out with paper first, you get a really good feel for how it's gonna look before you do the vinyl work. See if you can get it down to 4 holes per light, that should be about right.

My opinion, vinyl tails will look terrible no matter how you do them. End of story.

What do you anti-vinyl people recommend? Stock tail lights are boring, clear ones aren't readily available, and I don't think they make covers for them like the headlight covers.
i might tint mine red. just to illiminate the ugly yellow. not dark so that it ruins the rest

If you are desperate for clears and can't wait for Ander, there are many shops that will mold a clear lens for your lights. I've had friends with yellow blinkers on their cars that had clear lenses molded and put on.
And since you have a black car, smoking them looks good too, and you can do this yourself.
Stock looks WAY better than vinyl though.

props for the test effort  but maybe try another design. It'd be better if it wasn't going to be vinyl though.
