I just washed and waxed my car and went to clean the interior. I stepped on my back floormat (I have a 2dr '02 coupe) and it was soaked. The carpet below the backseat was soaked, as was the area around the hump for the drivetrain. Anyone know whats causing this?

Bad weather stripping. Have your mistress spray your door with the hose when your inside and you'll see it drip down. At least thats how I discovered it. I have the same problem, I guess some new weather stripping is on order.

something about a rain deflector in the door comes to mind...this happened to my first one and they just replaced some deal inside the door and it was fixed. I'll have to look through my old service records and see what I can find out

Thanks double0. If you find it, let me know. And nah, burg, just the carpeting was wet, none of the insulation underneath, which means the wiring wasnt't affected.

If it's not comming thur the door jam (you'd see a trail running into the car) it's comming up from the underside of the body.
Happened to mine, took it to the dealer and they reseled the area, under warranty
