Alright I have a problem ... I know about the Hazard Button Recall and that it would cause the turn signals to either flash really fast or to not work at all; My car is showing the symptums(sp?) for the Hazard button recall. So, i took my car to the dealership to have it repaired and they told me that MY alero did not have this recall issued, but that it was an applicable recall for the alero, grand am, etc... and that they would not pay for it.:banghead:

What should I do ??? ... I really need to get this problem fixed because my turnsignals sometimes don't work.

Thanks In Advance

buy the hazard switch yourself and replace it...its not expensive or hard

So the recall is just the Hazard Switch? ... I thought that the recall was for both the switch and the warness?

Anyway, so just go to the dealership and buy the Hazard Switch?

How hard is it to install? ... if it is just splicing wires then i will be fine.

Recently, my car's turn signals have been going haywire. My hazard lights, and turn signals work PERFECTLY, but when I finish a turn or am just not turning, sometimes it makes the clicking noise very rapidly (while it's making this noise though, it's doing nothing.) Would this most likely be the turn signal switch because I've already replaced the hazard switch thinking it was related to the recall, but that only resulted in wasted labor. :(

That's the mutli function switch that is the problem.

its a pretty easy fix if you follow the steps, my buddies gf's gagt had that problem, i showed him the link and he took care of it and he is in no way car literate.

wow, i thought it was just my car...lol. I also have problems with my signals not working at all either, I usually have to turn the hazards on for a second and it usually fixes the problem. Didn't know there was a recall on them tho.
