so you want to have two sets of tweeter?

Id say keep them as high as you can. Maybe you can make a pod for them and have them on each side of the front dash. another option is to go lower in the front stage and mount them near the door speakers. I geuss it all comes down to how much fabricating you want to do.

i personnally would say mount them down by the door speakers that way your imagining and front stage sounds better.

i actually test set one where i have the pic marked and it sounded great, i havent decided what i'm gonna do yet, i have to many tweeters now, the polk tweeters are to big for the tweeter pods, but they sound brighter than the r13's.

if they sound better then take the time to mold them in. I had mine molded into the tweeter pod.

too many tweeters = too much high end... you only need two...

If anything... put them in the trunk if you plan on putting a complete system in there...

your best bet... double sided tape...

hook them up, play some muisc and stick them in various spots.

Use whichever spot sounds best and make sure your sitting in your usual spot. Also sit in the passenger seat and do the same.

Or you can also use the string method and aim both tweets directly to the center of the cab. Typically you want your sound stage brought up to ear level... Concerts are directly infront of you... this is the reason I never use a rear sound stage as well.

And some of the ppls comments on this are just plain stupid... If you dont know much about audio dont comment. Cause clearly some of the responses are idiotic.
