Kimmy and I have been talking about a meet at NYIRP (http://www.nyirp.com/). We think October 13th would be a good date to do this type of thing.

1. It's the last possible week to do a track meet this year (well, at that track)
2. It's far enough ahead where we can request off from work, and finish off certain projects (or in Scott's case, just finish off enough to get it running...lol)
3. It'll be cold out so we can get our best times.

it's a quarter mile. Lancaster is 1/8 mile. NYIRP is the only 1/4 mile in WNY.

no, not at all! I was just thinking that it's kind of absurd to drive all the way from Maryland to get to a meet where everybody else you're meeting with got there with less than a half tank of gas. But really, the more the merrier!

OK I'm in my mom just informed me that her and my dad are going to be going to Kentucky that weekend. I wasn't going to go before b/c my dad's b-day is the 13th but if he's going on vacation then i'm all for it. But it's going to be friday the 13th so I'll be sure to bring a lot of good luck charms. :D My day has been made!!!

Darn that sounds like fun, too bad I have to work tonight. But since Buffalo got like 13 inches of snow last night I doubt that the track will be open, but who knows. We should definetlly have a meet soon before the winter weather comes, it doesn't have to be at a track.

My power was out from 915 thursday night to about 145 this afternoon. scheduled 730am-4pm on friday to work, but I worked 730am-8pm, so I couldn't have made it. I plowed my way to work too.

we lost power for 3 hrs, the night of... then 3 hrs the next morn. thats it. but we have been a stopping point for damn near everyone we know. it seems we had power and no-one else did.

so... whose karma do we blame this one on? lol The last day of drag season and our track (and home area) gets nailed with snow...
