Welcome
All depends on your financial situation at this time. Clear the corners, add a body kit, interior work-like guages, trim and lighting. Make the car your own, but do it tastefully. Whatever you do, do not put a huge wing on the trunk.
Browse thru the forums to get ideas. There is some real talent on this site, no B.S. Most of all take any criticism with a grain of sand, they can and will be true with their criticism's.

1st off, Welcome to Aleromod! :D
Intake and exhaust is always a great start, wheather you're going the preformance route or not.
Rims and tires are good too, but for that you're looking at about $1K pending on your tastes.
Clearing corners is free!

welcome and enjoy!
as redog stated, intake and exhaust are great.....
other than that, the choice is yours..... performance or appearance, or a nice fat sound system in your car

I was thinking of building a custom sub box for 3 10's and then i have a list of some priced items that i've been looking up to do. I have noticed that they don't make borla exhausts for the alero anymore so i would have to get that custom done any suggestions of the type of exhaust to get.

Either or. Personal preference, really. Both are still high-quality.

Welcome to the site!
Ya as mods go, it totally depends on what you're into. Sounds like you're at least interested in sound, then just decide on looks or performance (or both) Good luck in all your projects

I don't like the way big wings look on any car I personally think they look dumb

Flowmasters suck, we did a dyno test between magnaflow, flowmaster and borla exhausts, and magnaflow wins by a land slide, flowmaster sounds good but wayyy to restrictive.
Redogs rite intake n exhaust would be good first, then lower it, clear them corners and rims make a big different when ur lowered. Magnaflow ftw by far.

just do what ever you want to do, if you take opinions from everyone its going to be everyones car, make it your own, do what YOU want, not what others think you should do

Cold air intake #1 its <3
www.doctorspeed.com or I think double0alero makes them aswell, I have a doctorspeed and I love it. Dr Speed can be a pain in the azs with his shipping because for me it took forever but i was so happy with the product it doesnt matter.
