Shifting question.

For shifting out of park you're supposed to press the brake and the button then pull back, right? I could've sworn that was the case. Well the other day I noticed I could just press the button and pull back into gear. Is that normal or do I have some sort of cool fluke going on?

i have never paid attention to that. i do however roll from reverse to drive without depressing the button.

I think that's normal. I normally just use the brake because I want to make sure I'm not moving IF there's traffic when I'm backing up...

Yea, the reverse to drive without the button is normal, you only have to press the button to get into reverse from drive and prom park to reverse or something like that I think.
Maybe the brake from park to reverse is just something on some cars.
