Ok well first question i have is...... For a while ONE of the Led's i put under my dash has been flickering.....sometimes it goes off. I have 4 leds under the dash (2 on each side). Whats wrong? is the one led bad? or when i wired them together, did one of them just not stick right to the wire??

Second question i have......
Ive seen some people on here have lighting in their air vents, i wanted to ask what you put in there to make them light up nice? and will these work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8031704473 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8031704473)
I dont know if that works cause i am at school and u cant go to ebay, but they are small Led lights, that had double sided tape. Will they work good in the vents? and how do run the wires?

if there flickering, the only thing i can think of is you have a lead that might be broken and you might wanna try and re-solder it. also, make sure you have a resistor on that LED (if you did it yourself).

as for the vents, thats cherrys specialty, but i can tell you he just used a couple of 5mm LED's, sanded the tips down so that its flat, soldered a resistor to it and had them on the same switch as his interior so when he hits the switch, under his dash and the vents light up

haha... my "specialty"

i don't have a switch for my interior... i have distro blocks in there that run everything. And my cubby lights on the radio bezel, is whats powers all that. so when those turn on, my doors and vents turn on.

and if the lights flicker, its a bad connection. i've had a several leds that the lead will break off AT the acrylic. when that happens its a bitch, since you need to replace the whole LED.

Swap out the underdash LED's for some of Oznium's 4" Cathod tubes. Those things work fantastic! and arnt really very expensive. Save the LED's for in the vents and other tight little areas.

not a big fan of the cathods, i found LED's to be more durable and of course, last long and less likely to be damaged physically since there strong ^_^

Cathodes are good for people who want to take the easy way out. They are much more fragile, and the color isn't as good. I had them for a while, and did like them.. but leds, IMO, are much nicer of a glow.

and as how to mount in the vents... (find the how to for it) but double sided tape isn't good. hot glue or epoxy works much better.
