I got some raybrig whitesonics a while back for around $65 shipped or something from this site:

I'd love to take some pics but I just went back to school from break so i'm away from my car and cant, but I can tell you this: they're definately whiter and brighter than silverstars (they better be for the extra price ;) )....and they have a slight hint of blue in them...
I'll post pics in May
PS: they're supposedly not street legal, probably b/c they're made in Japan and I can't read a word on the box since its all Japanese lol, but i've been using them for about a week and I haven't gotten pulled over...maybe its just a matter of time, but I dont know, they're not brighter than some of those HID's in BMW's and stuff so it shouldnt be a problem.

On my other vehicle I did the
H4 bulb conversion (got rid of the sealed beams). The lenses are tinted blue and hav eRaybrig platnum white bulbs in there. They make my Alero's Silverstars look like junk. These are very close to HID's in whiteness, color but not as intense as a true hid. When driving next to other cars they cover their dull yellow bulb beam patterns. Awesome bulbs.

Whitesonic headlamp bulbs feature twice the light output of stock lamps with models capable of producing 95 watt brightness from 55 watt lamps and 130/25 watt brightness from 60/55 stock wattage requirements. These bulbs emit an ultra bright white look with immense clarity over stock bulbs and operate with an incredible 5000K color temperature range. Sold in pairs.
I can't really figure out what they are saying here, but are they saying these are 130 and 95 watt bulbs??? (assuming the 130/25 should be 130/125) If so, I garauntee you will melt your wire harness over time. ;)

yeah, I think that since they burn at a higher color temperature (5000K), they generate more light output and more heat as a result, meaning that yes they will melt them over time, but arent silverstars similar in color temp? i think they're something like 4500K which isn't too far off....hmmm, have to keep an eye on it :smokin:

it's the wattage that counts, silverstars are standard 55 watts

yeah, silverstars are very white considering they are 55 watts. Also, they spread a very good pattern. These will melt your wires, and you will have to buy new bulbs. I went through 3 sets of bulbs before I did my HID conversion (then sold it and got Silverstars) and I have already had my silverstars for longer than any of my other blue bulbs.

actually, that is why i got HIDs too. I went through a set of blue eurolites, some japanese brand, and purple eurolites which left me like no wires left to work with inside the headlights. I said to myself "funk dat" and just ponied up for the HID conversion. I loved the HIDs but I wanted to do a true HID projector retrofit... so I sold the HIDs and havn't had the money to start work on the retrofit.
