today when I started my car my bass kicked in fine.. but then I noticed every light in my vehicle is dimming upon the kick of the bass.. I thought "ohhh sh!t.... :-( "
I have been having my bass kick in and out for about a month but I paid it no mind I just figured I need to find time to re-wire.. but this is def. a first...
anybody have any experience with this, or know whats happening??

its as simple as this....your stock battery and alternator dont have the constant power that the amp is asking for, so when your subs "hit" it sucks all the power from the rest of the electrical system and thats why your lights dim, get a stronger battery such as an optima and an upgraded alternator

lol... thanks for putting it in my terms fart cannon....
I figured it was the batt/alt.. although I have been messing w/ my car audio for a couple years now(and basically know the answer) is there another(read: cheaper) way out? Like buy a new battery or capacitator?? Cause I dont want to shell out to much to power 2 W1's

lol try the battery first..........the cap isnt really going to do anything......get an optima red or yellow top, its a good investment because it will last you a long time..........
