this will great material to display at shows and cruiz-ins. i am still trying to figure out who wrote up the atricle that way i can give them a big thanks.

That's nice but it won't happen.

Every year people are like "Wow that looks fun, I'm going next year" then again in January they are like "Wow I'm going" As April rolls around people are like "eeerrrrr... I don't have $30 to share a room with a few members"

I'm getting married June 2, 2007, ASS will be June 15, 16, and 17 this year. I'll get home from the honeymoon on Monday or Tuesday, and drive out on Thursday, so nobody has an excuse

^^ not an excuse. we're not looking for show quality...if you got it, great...if you don't, who cares. What we're after is the fact to prove to the older generation that runs the major show that the Alero needs to be included in this. Right now the show cars show up in such small numbers...we're considered the tuner group...which is great but we need the stock looking cars there as well to show just how popular the Alero is/was. My car has a 1/2" gash through the paint on the hood plus other holes from stones...i still show here and at other shows in my area. Bottom line right is...We'll take quantity over quality.

If Alero owners don't stick together, we'll never get any respect in OCA. We are the old cars of the future, and the last of a breed. We need to show them the potential of tuner Alero's and stock ones alike.

The Olds racing crowd has been in the same boat with OCA in recent years. The old timers are trying to shut them out, but the racers are not giving up. They are still trying to get the national meet to be at locations with a drag strip nearby.

Remember the old timers won't live forever, YOU are the future of OCA!

i love the idea and hope we can do it. but if we hit 20+ i will be happy. but if we don't we shouldn't let it gets us down. let it embolden us for the next year.
