How can I get ahold of the people who came up with OSV? I've tried searching on the net and through olds and through GM but nobody gives a good enough answere.

if its the body kit youre looking for check the "Appearance" section...silentalero has a pre-buy going on for the kit, he has a company that is going to make replica kits since you cant get them anywhere

Specifically the brembo big brake conversion kit. and I need to find better headgaskets head bolts a stronger manifold, and I'd like to find all the little emblems and floormats and crap like that.

Somebody is selling the little exterior OSV stickers on this site too, apparently they look really good. The OSV stitching on the headrests of the seats is probably custom work. And Brembo or Baer can hook you up with a brake kit for your car..

You'll need to fabricate the caliper mounts and find the rotor with the correct offset to fit......the Brembo kits on the OSV cars were, like the cars themselves, one-off pieces that never saw an aftermarket for the current production model.

1. This is not specific to the v6 so im moving it to genreal Questions

2. GM will not give out any info about who built it, at least not to the general public, like myself. Maybe if you know somebody inside they can help you out.

3. Mfuller put it best, everything on those cars were one off and never met production, except maybe the S/C on the first one.

you got the intake manifold? i was told that it wasn't anything special, that it only would accomodate a larger tb. is this true?

he's got a 3.4 you got a 2.4. The 2.4 intake manifold is nothing but the stock manny ported out to match the larger TB, not worth 100 when you can get a $30 bit put it in a grinder/drill/etc and get the same thing. I'm just guessing the 3400 manny is the same deal.

The 3400 manifold is made out of aluminum and can actually be ported and polished. People see actual gains (albiet very small on a stock engine) from getting that done to their intakes on the 3400. The 2.4 TwinCam has a composite manifold and can't really be ported. The only thing RSM does is mill out the "lip" at the top of the manifold where the throttle body sits, so it can accomodate a larger throttle body, as large as 65mm or maybe even larger. A stock intake manifold on a 2.4 can support a 59mm throttle body, and on a naturally aspirated engine, that's plenty big..

actually you can port the 2.4 manifold. Its just a little harder than the alum one. Not sure what RSM does but like I said before all you need to due is take a de-burring bit to it.

Like this....

to get a result something like this. You can port more all the way through the orange gasket to accomodate a 65mm TB but then you have to make up a new paper one.

the OSV was built by the Oldsmobile Speciality Vehicle divison. They are the ones that did everything. Actually a lot of that car was planned for production. Olds got the ok to produce the OSV Nov. 2000 but then in Dec. 2000 GM made the annoucement.

You need to find someone on the inside to find out that info on where Olds had most of that stuff made up nd find out if the companies can reproduce those pieces. but chances are not.
