I found a small water leak in the car. Not in the engine thought
It was raining yesterday andI noticed a few drops of water on my floor mat. I didn't get up in there yet but it's comming out right by the light under the glovebox.
Anybody else have this problem?

i had water on the rear floor of the passenger side. I soaked it up once and thought maybe I left a bottle of water on the floor that got crushed. My floor was soaked again less then a week later. So I soaked up as much as i could and decided to investigate further. when i pulled the back seat out to lift up the carpet and dry it I discovered water everywhere. I just finished pulling out both front seats and the center console to dry it as much as I can. Now i've got all the carpet out too and i soaked up about a 1/2 gallon of water and everything is airdrying. How do I find where the water is coming in? Anyone else have this problem as bad as I do?

I had that smae problem, the water comming up from underneath.
Happened in the same spot to mine, car was only a year old back then, so it didn't cost anything to fix

My Achieva had this problem. I had to re-seal between the firewall and the vent that allows fresh air into the heater box. I can't say this is the issue with your Alero, but it might be worth checking out.
