Okay, this is the setup.

086 head, 2.3 oil pump, eagle rods, 62 mm tb, pacesetter headers currently at hand, crower springs.

Question is would it be better to get a valve relief piston setup for additional protection or a dish type piston.

I understand dish help with better performance but I also heard that it can trip SES. Valve relief pistons provide additional clearance needed for intake valves as to avoid costly repairs. Who here as tried either or piston? Will stock rotator work or should I go with hydraulic roller? I am looking for additional power but not at the cost of replacing another motor. I like to hear from expereience please. Please refrain from saying "wtf you mean rotators or roller?" If you don"t know please don"t post what these are please tell me to try it.

don't forget to mention you're gettin the secret cam swap...i dunno about the pistons, but i do know that the cams will probably have an effect on what pistons you choose to run

yeah, I thought about that too, which is why Im asking if any1 has done such a setup. J-body hasn't done it, so Im worried about spending nearly a 1K and then having it go to waste.
