hey man I was just reading through all this and saw your question.... I have 18's on my alero on falkens. I think the Falkon tires wear to soon. Im not all fimilar with every tire out there, but my favorite are Wanli. I used them on a real wheel drive truck I fixed up and I always power braked on those tires. Even when i got rid of the rims, the tires had 15,000 left on em. I belive Falkon tires are made to protect the lip of your rim though. Also depends on what kinda look you want.

I put the Michellen Pilot Exalto Sports on mine.
Expensive, but great grip, and handling and don't shake at very high speeds :naughty:
OE on the MB sport coupes too ;)

michelins are always excellent.. I dont have rims, but my new michelins are amazing.. the day they were put on the car, it made a huge difference. it stops A LOT faster on wet roads, sticks to the ground better, and just feels all around more stable. expensive tho....
I have the Harmony's.

Usually 18" six spoke rims look good on Aleros. As for tires.....BFGoodrich G-force KDW's.

kumho ecsta 711s, good grip and cheap as hell so it don't matter if you like to burn em up once in awhile, or every stoplight like me...

my rims are wrapped with wanli 1099's. i must agree that they make good tires. i have had these same ones since late spring 2004 and oh i dont know, 40k miles on them give or take. they have done their fair share of spinning too.

man, ecsta's are great (cheap) if you dont mind having no traction. I got a set of kumho ecsta ASX's 235/45/17's on mine and I smoke the living dog-shit out of em from a 40mph roll.
