Performance Clutch and Shifter?

I'm gonna be doing a lot of overhaul work to my 2001 alero in the near future and i am currently looking for a performance short shifter and performance clutch assembly. I've come across some but can't make decisions. This is where i need some help. :(

I have the 2.4L and i need some advice on the best aftermarket clutch assembly for the manual transmission i have. The shifter i need a little help with as well i've seen the one on GM performance parts for the cavalier manual 2.4 and is this adequate or can i do better?

Any insight is greatly appreciated. :)

oops lol this should ahve gone into the 2.4L specific questions my bad, if an admin wants to move it that would be great.

you should shoot a pm to pat. i think his sn is 2000oldsalero or something like that. he's done a good bit of work like this.
