Here is a pic of my engine bay with a duel air intake on it....im triign to think of ways to improve the air flow where it meets in the "Y" section. Any ideas??

looks cool, but it looks like it doesnt do too much since it both goes to the same inlet without force. so you probably would need forced induction

yeah..working on getting that to happen...but im wondering if there is turbulance in that Y section. Any ideas to improve that or best route for the forced induction

you're really not doing anything with the intake like that. you would need a bigger throttle body for more air. and as far as turbulence, you want the air to turn as it goes past the injectors. that's all that matters. it looks cool, but isn't helping you.

Im alread ylooking into a bigger throttle body. so far i think the best i found was 200 bucks for one that was bigger. Any ideas for the forced air??

Supercharger??? i dunno if it would benefit much...wouldnt a turbo be better?

pros and cons to each. i'd go turbo. but that supercharger looks tight.

ask the few whove had it done, either way you go it's going to be 10 times better.

well i know they each have their pros and cons and right now im a little tight on funding.....kinda...so which one do you think is cheaper and better for the money used

yeah i know...there are times where i want to pull it out and do someting different....but then again i think it looks good. I dunno...just was triing to make the bay look cleaner....do want to eventually get a turbo on it....just dont know which one would work best...I know on the stock motor...i shouldnt really push it up more then like 8 lbs of boost. Any suggestions??

Yeah that setup you have really isn't doing much to help. You'd be better off with a single tube short ram or CAI. Forced induction isn't something you just decide you want to do and then go by parts and slap them on. A turbo will give you more power but the supercharger will be easier to install and will come in a kit including everything (GM SC kit). The turbo setup will have to be pretty much custom built. If you really want a turbo, take the time to do a whole lot of research and find out how everything works together before you start buying parts. But I think you might be better off with the GM supercharger kit. It'll give you a good boost in power and also be resonably priced and easy to install.
