i just went down to the local hardware store and bought some gutter guard for my under my car, i was wondering if anyone has any tips for me as far as the best and easiest way to put this on. And also would it be best to cut out spots for the foglights or should i just cover them up??

fogs = you can cover them if it's a decent size mesh, then you wouldn't block out as much light...plus it looks cleaner, unless you cut EXTREMELY carefully, then it MIGHT look good.

As for keeping them on, if your material is really firm, you can just stick in the 2 side pieces (covering the fogs) and they should stay. The middle piece is going to need some work, ie: drilling small holes and keeping it on with zip ties. Another uncommon method is using bathtub silicone to hold the stuff on.

I hope this helps

I added grills to my car that I ordered from customcargrills.com they suggested using PERMATEX® Clear Silicone Adhesive Sealant (or similar). This worked great plus mess and excess can be cleaned up. But their Estimated Install time: 1 hour is bullpoop. Me and my friend had the hardest time at first we were going to use ZipTies but couldnt find out away to concel the holes. The adhesive is cool but we had the hardest time holding it in place long enough for the glue to set. So we used fishing string to hold it in place to it set. I've had them on since August and as far as I can tell there hasnt been any shifting at all. I use the commercial car washes to was the grill down and the Texas heat hasnt got to them yet.

The custom cargrills.com kit is utter trash, spend $6 at home depot to get the mesh you want and spend the remaining $34 you save on beer. Don't get me wrong, the fog light covers the kit comes with work fine. They held in place great, I used some silicone just in case though. But the middle one did not want to fit at all. So I used some of the gutter mesh that had a curve to it. I had it so that the curve cupped under the facia of the bumper and then I used the two clips to secure it to the bottom of the bumper. It's not going anywhere and it looks damn good.

It's very hard to see the whole setup with the fuzzy pix. I would measure where to cut a hole for the fogs then unbolt the fogs. Slide the mesh grill over the fogs and install as normal, then re-install the fogs. Not sure where you have the fogs mounted on the bumper. Hope that is of some help.

yeah, they are bolted on the lip of the bumper underneath, should i just leave the fogs outside of the mesh then ???

I would say yes. Is there another place to mount them behind the mesh?
