Just bought a 2001 GLS Sedan but want to upsize the tire and rims. Have decided to go with 18's but am having a hard time deciding what fits. If you are riding 18's, what size/brand tire and what size/brand wheel? (Original thought was 235/40R18 on Enkei ZR2 wheel. But would like some other options.) Thanks!

235/40-18 would be fine. 225/40-18 is fine too. You want a wheel with a 5x115 bolt pattern (although 5x114.3 will work too). Also, somewhere between 36 and 42 mm offset. Try not to go any wider than 8 inches, just to make sure you don't rub. Any wheel with the above specs will be fine. Go to www.tirerack.com (use the link above to help the site) or www.tires.com. Very helpful.

Thanks, the problem I'm having is that most five spoke silver wheels are 7.5 wide and a 235/40r18 requires an 8.0 wide wheel. Has that been an issue for others?

235 should NOT require an 8.0 inch wheel. At least I don't think so. Just doesn't sound right, considering we have 225's on 6.5 inch stock wheels.
