i know its kinda cheap, but i want to run a high level adapter. i want to keep the factory deck. i live in a high crime rate area and i dont want to spend 400 on a deck to get it stolen. could i just splice it off the rear 6x9"s?

yes you can. piece of cake.
just make sure you know which one is the pos and neg.
use a D battery to find it out. the easiest way.

Put the 2 wires to the ends of a D battery. Watch the cone on the speaker. If the cone moves toward the magnet you have the pos/neg backwards.
