My interior should be done in a week or 2 and I am pretty pumped. Here is what I did:
Restored everything except door panels back to stock, had my trim pieces redone in carbon fiber from VCFinishes. Carbon fiber shift knob on B&M short Throw shifter. Halo Reverse Gauges. Otto-R racing seats and Weapon-R Harnesses. (Brackets are being finished. Had girlfriends cousin do these for me, since he works at a metal shop.) Also, this week, need to install my netami steering wheel. Finally got my back seats back in. Have to install stereo, My LCD sunvisor kits are coming also. So, everything should be near done. Oh, and Blue LED floor lighting to match the stereo and halo gauges.
I will post pictures for "good jobs" or "FUGLY's" :yahoo:
Project phase 1 - Interior - Final Stages.
Project phase 2 - Exterior - Pending.
Project phase 3 - Performance - Pending.

yea, hope to not hear "it looks ricer" lol, cause now i am having 2nd thoughts about the wing, i can sell it for double what i paid if i have to... i saw the AAS kit on a few cars and they had stock spoiler. Looked pretty nice actually. Also, the razzi spoiler is growing on me.
And yes, nervous to hear from oldsnut and BJ. Maybe redog also :p

i think the interior should turn out nice. Need pics up asap. Glad to hear that you are having second thoughts on the spoiler. Aleromod peer pressure ftw!!

Be very afraid! If it's nice I will tell ya so.
I do have a disclaimer: I do not speak for BJ under any circumstance, I can't figure him out and don't want to try.

hey, I talk mad shit, but it's mainly cuz I got beat with the "rice" stick when I first joined also.....but I'm better now. No worries. I used to have the gigantic Terminator II wing from AAS (it's for sale), and still have the AAS kit. I'd get rid of the AAS kit too, but to be honest, it fits my performance needs for the front ducts (intercooler, twin tranny coolers, etc.)
I should post a pic here from the "damn I shouldn't have done that" photo album.
Looked like hell especially with no aftermarket rims and no paint on the kit.

lol not going to lie, the wing is fugly. i dont know why they even advertise it on the kato kit, does not fit well. as for the kit, i like it. My buddy has the showoff 3 kit on his grand prix, which is the same as the aas kit. He fiberglassed his own inlets for his evo fog lights, and it looks pretty nice.

 BJ, I can't believe you actually put that on your trunk lid. I should call you J-Lo from now on. Otherwise I like.

hmm carbon fiber cowl trunk lid and stock spoiler would look good on there. Oh and also some rims :)

yeah, and I left the holes in the trunk as a reminder not to do that again.

BJ, what % is your tint?
BlackJack

no idea. It was on there when I bought it, and never had it checked. I can say this though, any darker is asking for trouble. Already can't see out the back/sides when it's dark or heavy overcast.

I like it, maybe a little lighter i would go. I don't know what will look good.

do u have shots of ur kit with the intercooler?

on the Alero, IMO darker is better on tint.
These pics are before the tranny coolers got added in.
Now about the I/C. It's a liquid/air, so the front display is the additional radiator used for the liquid cooling ( basically a V.W. Scirocco radiator ) mounted forward of the crash bar. Like so:

and after bumper is reinstalled, like so:

You added a diffuser, are you going to fill in both of the smaller openings with a grill also?
nhartwell

i'd hope so, i think that would look better

guess I better take a better picture then. That extension actually goes straight down. Shadow makes it look like it expands and I could see how you might think it was a "diffuser". All it's there for is to take up the extra ground clearance, a little more downforce, and still be flexible enough to take the abuse of bad roads.
