AM Radio....

Does anyone else have a problem getting AM Radio in their alero? It wouldn't be a big deal to me, but the best Sports radio station in on AM.

I have an JVC mp3 player deck, but it was like this before I even had that installed, with the original factory deck.

Any help would be appreciated.

i have the same problem with AM recption in mine. I havent really looked in to it, but i bet that rear defogger is the cause of it all...

i use to listen to AM radio till my sports station moved to FM. My am works okay but I guess Am has seen better days??????

Back when I used to play around with electronics and fix radios, The AM antenna where a part of the radio its self. Just a coil in the unit its self. If its still the case now adays than there is nothing you can do. My pioneer gets great AM reception.

most aftermarket decks lose the AM in the Alero, yeah, the integrated antenna has something to do with it.

my AM reception is fine but i get this ungodly whine that almost sounds like a sine sweep.
