Remote Lock/Unlock Problems... HELP

Okay, my remote used to work flawlessly. Today it started acting up, and I have no clue whats wrong.

The lock/unlock and trunk buttons no longer do a damn thing, but the panic button works just fine. What the hell could be causing this? Does the remote need to be reprogramed? Has anyone experienced anything similar to this? Thanks!

did you try to change the battery in the remote?

While standing next to the car press the remotes: lock and unlock buttons at the same time until You hear the locks activate.......hopefully that will re-set the system.
