Yesterday, we had some "freezing rain" (sry, don't know the word in english, if anyone can help me out) and I was doing some deliveries. At one spot, I knew it was really slippery. At one point, in a little curve, I was running like 25 km/h in 2nd gear and braked before the curve. Nothin happened, on about 75 feet, i just went sideways without even slowing a bit. As a result, I bumped a car that was parked ( 95 sunfire in the left side of rear end hitting just behind my passenger door ).

The collision wasn't hard (maybe 10 km/h) but still metal just up of rocker panel is all inside and theres some scratch on my door (that is also a bit kinked). I was wondering about how it would cost me (rocker seems fine). I know I could go to a body shop and have it checked, but i was wondering if some guys here had to repare something similar and how much it costed before goin there.

Thx in advance.

freezing rain is freezing rain. Its rain that freezes on contact with the ground. Sleet is ice balls mixed with rain that freezes when it hits the ground. Hail is ice balls during thunderstorms. No freezing on the ground

Ty for the precision, ill try to take some pics. And no, it wasn't a Hit and Run because i actually searched around for the owner of the other car and found it.

It's funny because the guy actually said to me " Man this is a hit and run you did " and I responded " I'm right here next to you, how is this a H&R?"

He only ask me 25$ for his back tail light that was cracked. (I wonder if he can really find one for that price lol)

Here's the pics from my passenger side

I just realize that you could see me in the reflect on the door lol.

The little white lines on the first pics arent dirt, its actually some trace of the bump under the door handle and just before de wheel. And where there's a big white spot, inside the door there is a ding from the bruised metal. Any bodyshop guy can do me a fast average cost of this?
