I'd be willing to do so, but most east coast meets fall apart long before they even happen

I'd be in on it, but it would have to be spring time. My car is not coming out of the garage until atleast March.

yeh i feel yeh. getting good deals on classic cars is a pain most of the time... but its easy around here. everyone has them sitting out abandoned in their yards. u can cruise thru the local trailer park, find a classic u want, walk up to the door and give em 50 bucks for it, then tow it on away. We did that recently and made a KILLING on a 71 GTO.

good luck. since oldsmobile was murdered, the older ones have gone up on average 10-20% a year. so they are never going to get cheaper.

71's are even harder to find due to the smaller production because of the strike that year.

Hell even the clones have gone up. my 71 442 clone used to be worth 7-8k but if i had it now i could get 10-12k for it. but the 64 was a better investment. it went from being worth 10k to 15k in just 3 years.

the best way anymore is to get a cutlass and make it a 442. but even by the time you get it done if you add up all you put into it you could have had a 442.

yeah i know they have, ive been watching them slowly rise in price. thats the reason i want another 71 is because of the low production. they only made a couple hundred 4spds and convert forget about it. thats why i love my 71 so much is becuase you cant find them and they are rare! i LOVE being different and rare!
