I'm curious if anyone on here has purchased a head from Induction Dynamics or JBodyPerformance or any other site that I may not know of. If so, was it actually worth it or should I just take my head to a good machine shop and get them to do the work. If that is the case, what valves, springs and retainers would you reccomend. Thanks in advance for the help and suggestions.

porting work is best left to someone who knows the parts at hand, as far as assembly though... anyone can do that

I hate to thread jesus this, but it doesn't warrant starting a new thread...
Since Oldsman last posted has anyone put on one of these heads?
I would get the JBP but it is just insanely priced, and I'm worried about Induction Dynamics because it doesn't look like they have updated their site in years.

best luck is spy on gagt or a j-body site, not too many modded 2.4s here....

only a few have bought this, check out www.j-body.org for all the information on the 2.4L and 2.2L, tons of info.
It's expensive. They claim 33whp though, would be a hefty gain if it's accurate.
You can do it yourself too.. go to the Performance --> 2.4L --> Head section in Aleromod Upgrades.

I would love to do it myself, but I would hate to screw it up and then be worse off than I am now.
I'm going to check j-body and Ill post up any good info I find for anyone who may be reading this thread.

Absolutely nothing of value on j-body that I could find. The only thing that was said is that they are good companies to buy from. Doesn't really help anyone, just letting you know what I found.
