Turn signal bulbs, help!

Ok well i posted a question like this in another thread, but i want to start a new one so more people can see it.

My first question issss.......are there any blue turn signal bulbs??? cause i took out the amber bulbs and put white ones in, but i want the 8000k HIDs i just ordered to match up with them.

My second question is...... are those "stealth" turn signals on PFYC.COM any good? what do they actually do, im still confused, so if i turn my signals on they light up amber, but if they are off, they dont light up???? cause that would be sweeeet, but they are also wayyyyy to much for bulbs. but if i have to get those to make the headlights look better, i will.

Eurolite super white LED for 194. kind of have a bluish tint to them but they are bright as hell and look sweet. they will only work if your lights are on on if you put them in the other way, when your lights are off. I haven't had problems so far, I drove into a stop check and the cops didn't give me trouble.

Now those bulbs you guys listed light up amber when they are on???

Cause if they do, then i dont want to get them, cause amber looks bad right next to blue, i wanted a bulb that lit up blue all the time.......

do you guys think i can take the clear bulbs i have now and put some spray paint or something over it???? that would be easy:coolio: any ideas???

I have the blue-ish amber silverstars. they are pretty sweet.. and legal! heres the only pic i could find of them on my mac.. sorry it sucks..its from my old 3mp camera.
and YES!! i know my hood is dented.. dunno how that happened... lol

Silverstar 3157s are the ones to get for the main parking lights, though.

im still not really getting my question answered, are these silverstars going to light up blue when they are on????? and when i turn my signal on will it go amber? i want a bulb that lights up blue ALL the time.:rolleyes2:

yea but the only time they arent lit is when the car is sitting shut off, the bigger bulbs are on when the headlights are on, so now that i have HIDs, the blue light next to the white light would look cheesy in my opinion.

They're off during the day unless you have your parking lights switched to on.

No it wouldn't...:wtf2: If you want to go the illegal way, get the blue ones at Autozone... even they might tell you it's illegal.... the silverstar ones that I have in mine have a bluish tint to them when they are not lit... when they are on, they glow amber... a few people have already answerred that on here....

Edit: I got an idea... take a picture of your headlights with the HID kit lit up and ask someone to photoshop your lights with my picture of the amber silverstars.... then see if you like it...

That's a BBAAAAADDDDD Idea..... It would be cheaper to just go buy blue bulbs..... painting them, you'd be looking at $6-10 for a can of spray paint that you won't even use a quarter of...

dude, the kid wants blue bulbs cause it'll "look better" amber is the law, follow it buy what has been suggested, who gives a damn if the colors in your headlight wont match, itll clash like the rest of your car.

In other words have high beam and low beam on at the same time???? There's a way you can have all four on when you have the high beams on.... but why would you need that much light for low????

Turn your headlights on? I assume you mean you want your corners on when the headlights are on. During the day the daytime running lights are on, which is just the low beams. At night, the corners come on too, and the headlights may be brighter as well. I see your car is an '04 so it should be like my '03.

So if you just turn your headlights on during the day, via the switch, that should be problem solved!

no i dont mean that. I want to wire the front parking lights to the low beam headlights. So the front park lights dont blink when you put your turn signal on. The front park lights would be the low beams also. The two end park lights would just come on when you use your turn signal. Anyone get what im saying? Normally when you put your turn signal on, the front park light would blink and then the corner park light would blink and back and forth, etc. I want to make the front park lights into low beam headlights, so only the corners would work instead of all four park lights

I know the front park lights are on at night and they blink when you put your turn signal on, so basically i dont want the front park lights to blink because I have PIAA 3157's in the front that are super white. I just think it would look cool...

You could probably do it with a relay, but I personally don't think its a good idea. The point of having a front facing blinker is so that oncoming traffic can see you're turning. The one on the side is for traffic approaching from the side, like when you enter an intersection. It might cause some problems. But I don't wanna preach laws.

If I were to do it, I would incorporate a switch and a relay into the system, so when you wanted, you could make only the side blink, and then when you needed, you could make the front signal blink.
