How much are the rooms anyway?

How much are the rooms anyway?
they are typically in the $90 USD per night area. So if you have a roommate, it will be cheaper...if they aren't cheapskates and actually chip in. lol

In my case for ASS 2006, I arranged to share a room with somebody, so I got a room with 2 beds. Last minute, he canceled, and I got stuck paying for it all by myself. *Names won't be mentioned...mainly because I forgot who it was*

However, I lucked out in 2005 planning on being by myself and jamcllw last minute decided to show up, and he chipped in on the bill for the room.

My family and me are planning on being there, but it all depends on if i have the turbo setup installed and tuned properly. i should have all the parts by march, and installed and tuned by the end of april, what is the latest we can register and book a room?

registration normally ends may1st and that is when a room would need to be booked.

that is also NASCAR weekend so rooms go fast. but we will have a block.

Wow! Can't believe it's already time to start thinking about some ASS! Oops that didn't sound good. I didn't attend last year. 2005 was good. I had some fun. I roomed with Heather at the time. Has she been on the site lately? With the problems I'm having with my car lately, wonder if I'll even be able to make it there.

I believe Im going to show up. However Im not sure what all I need to register for? Parking???

I guess I dont fully understand the power of the ASS.

All Im interested in is parking my car, checking everyone elses out and shooting the shit and calling it a night. I do intend on staying in a Hotel simply because Im close enough for the drive.

I reaaaaally want to go, but I don't think I'm going to be able to. I'll be starting a new job very soon so I don't know if I'll have time to finish my 'ho in time for the show. Maybe I can talk the wife into the drive... That's like a 12-hour trip, but small potatoes compared to the drive from san diego to cincinnati, which we have done many, many times. :)

Cincy to Lansing is 12 hours for you? Do you take all back roads or something?

errrrr my bad. Just MapQuested it. I just remember when I used to race BMX, it took 12 hours to drive to delaware for nationals and I figured it was about the same distance. Damn I'll probably be there then!

yeah, im not going this year. My car is a pile of poop and I don't want to drive to Lansing. I'll prolly be at the lake and don't want to make people mad when I leave early like i did last year.
