View Full Version : deff. gotta bag it now
well anyway i got my AAS kit installed and the bumpers are a lot lower then the stockers, and i have some mutant S/T lowering springs that dropped the car more then 3 inches, so anyway i almost ripped my whole back bumper off today pull out of a parking lot because its so low. i have 4 inches on the sides and 3 inches between the floor and my exhaust, heres a pichttp://www.aleromod.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1085&stc=1&d=1167112547

I feel your pain....I only have around a 2 inch drop and ive already drug my side skirts and scraped my exhaust tip so many times i lost track....the car wash here is on a hill so you have to go on a ramp and my car wont make it in:cry: .
So I have to wash her at home all the time.

aas kit with springtech's. yeah, i can't roll a 16oz bottle of soda under my car with out it catching.
gotta roll up on an old set of rotors just to get the jack under the frame. time to learn to drive in angles if you're scraping. and PA roads are horrible.

Yea, all roads in NY suck:( i wish i could get a body kit, but im not going to because there are too many places where i would fuck it up. If i ever put a body kit on a car, it would be if i had a winter car to use and i could bag it:lol: but i dont see that happening for a while:lol:

yea and i scrapped my car on the roads now as it is. And it's not that low! It's mostly going over speed bumps, and pulling in and out of driveways.

Yea i kow, it happens to me sometimes, not on speedbumps, but pulling into places where there is a big dip in the road, i hate that, and then you can hear your car gettning all scrapped up! damn roads here, they need to pave them all! Sometimes i wish i lived in illinois, because its all flat!!!

I live in dallas/ft worth. Nothings wrong with those speed bumps. just need to learn how to drive lowered cars. Mines a bagged daily.
-----------
Gr1m - Bagging yours wouldn't solve your problem. The easystreet air struts max height is equal to lowering springs. Cuz those air struts are shortened 6". But if you get the chassis tech air struts.. those suckers makes you 4x4. (ask joel & ppgnut) lol.
My question to you is .. do u take your speed bumps or parking lot exits at a 45 degree angle exit? If not.. then you need to train & practice yourself on how to drive a lowered car w/ a kit. I got friends (on lowering springs on a g35) who are lower than you. (2 1/2" off the ground) and their fine. Their car is their daily driver too & dallas does have some nasty roads.
